Some may not like Hitoshi Sakimoto's compositions, or just hate him for the fact that he replaced Uematsu on the Final Fantasy music front, but I for one am a big fan of his. He's given Final Fantasy games some of the most epic sounding boss tunes the series has ever seen. This theme is no exception. Now, if you're familiar with the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 (A2) Soundtrack, you'll notice some tracks from FFXII in there, specifically, the boss battle theme, aptly named "That Which Stands in the Way" in FFTA2. I've noticed some difference between the tracks, specifically with drums, but when placed just right, (along with other brass instruments) it can make one particular part sound really epic. What you might or might not be hearing (depending if you know the two songs well enough) is NOT the DS version of the song, obviously, since you can tell simply by the quality. However, hearing the FFXII boss theme on a DS is simply bad ass in itself. By the way, there are remastered soundtracks for both of the hand held Advance games, I'd recommend getting them. Now. Anyway, I figured I'd throw the two versions together to get this, and for the most part, it's identical, and sounds twice as epic. Seeing how I don't make Poops any more, this is some of what you'll get from me now. BY THE WAY YOUTUBE I DO NOT CLAIM TO HAVE COMPOSED THESE MYSELF THEY ARE ACTUALLY THE PROPERTY OF HITOSHI SAKIMOTO OR SQUARE ENIX OR WHATEVER AND IF YOU THINK I STOLE THESE JUST SHUT UP SHUT UP ...
